The Nescopeck Collective was established to make it easier for people to eat healthy foods, support local farms, reduce the distance between producer and consumer, and provide agricultural entrepreneurship and educational opportunities to young people in our region.
Produce is currently sourced from Thomas' Farm, Och's Farm, Broyan's Farm, Burger's Farm, Heller's Orchard, Hilliard's Fruit Farm, and Stemmrich Blueberry Farm, as well as Shared Roots' micro farm, which participates in the "Growing Markets" sustainable ag-incubator program at the Butler Township Community Garden in Drums. Pastured meats and eggs will be sourced from Rinehimer Farm starting in 2022.
All farms are located in and around the Conyngham, Drums, Sugarloaf, and Nescopeck valleys of Northeast Pennsylvania. More farms will be added over time depending upon supply, demand, and customer interest. The Nescopeck Collective is operated by the Farm2Table Division of Shared Roots, LLC.
